Description
The door of the main entrance at Timberline Lodge, with wrought iron detailing.
The Lodge was built and furnished by local artisans during the Great Depression using Works Progress Administration (W.P.A.) and Federal Art Project funds, opening to the public in 1938. It is a National Historic Landmark.
