Oswego Iron Works
Description
Built in 1865 and operated until about 1893 on the bank of the Willamette River near the mouth of Oswego Creek, this was the first iron furnace on the Pacific Coast. The site is now owned by the City of Lake Oswego and is the highlight of the Oswego Iron Heritage Trail.
