Attributions for the pieces are difficult, some were done individually and some were collaborations. Artists include Edward Benedict, Dora Erickson, Karl Feurer, Martina Gangle, George Jeffrey, and Elizabeth Hoffman Wood.
The Lodge was built and furnished by local artisans during the Great Depression using Works Progress Administration (W.P.A.) and Federal Art Project funds, opening to the public in 1938.
